How to Download Video from YouTube:
|
1. Go to the YouTube Video presenting the video you wish to download. 2. Copy the URL to the video on the page shown at the location below: |
|

3. Go to the FreeMovie DNLDs.com YouTube Video Downloader and paste in the URL you just copied, then follow the directions and use the file name it indicates, which ends in .flv (This is very important or the format of the file will be unreadable.) See Below:

4. Now that you have the video file, you will need a good flash player to watch it with. The open source flash player from Wimpy works very well and if you upload it to the same folder as the videos you are downloading, you can use it on nearly any computer without having to install it again. This is great for listening to music videos at work or watching videos on computers that do not have access to YouTube or the internet.

5. Once you have the flash player downloaded, you will have to extract it with WinZip. Download WinZip For Free

6. Once you have installed WinZip, simply double click on the Wimpy flash player file and WinZip will open. In WinZip, select Actions>Select All, then select Actions>Extract and select where you want to extract the compressed file to. (If you are not sure, just select Desktop if there is room on your desktop.
7. Now that you have Wimpy running, double click on its icon to open it and then click on the folder in the middle of its screen. Now use the window that opens to find your YouTube video, which you downloaded earlier. Double click on the .flv file (YouTube Video) and it will start playing.
